I have been watching this show for awhile because I find it inspiring to me because they are passionate about what they do. Pit bulls and Parolees is a show about a dog rescue for mostly pit bulls and parolees. I am a dog lover and I really enjoy seeing the dogs get rescued and cared for and especially when they end up getting homes. I know this rescue tries to not put any of their dogs to sleep but I also know they sometimes do not have a choice which is unfortunate. This rescue will try everything and do everything to save a dog or two or more at a time. They have even saved a diseased dog that no one cared to save and they were unable to save it in time. I think this show ,shows compassion towards Pit bulls and parolees because they are both understood.
The dog rescue is ran by a family ,that hires parolees to work with the dogs and help take care of them until they find a home to go to. They even help dogs on death row and dogs that have been fighting dogs ,or dogs with a bad reputation. They basically help the animals that no one else wants to deal with because they know the animal is not as bad as people make it out to be so they give it a second chance at life. They give the parolees a second chance as well ,which changes their life.
Anyone who enjoys animals and has a passion for them would enjoy watching this show ,and anyone who thinks that pit bulls are bad dogs can watch this and learn more about them from probably one episode and see that pit bulls are not as bad as people think they are. It just all depends on how they are raised and who takes care of them. I am thankful to have a rescue like this that cares so much about the animals. They make sure they go to good homes and they go out of their way to prepare for their home checks. They also try to keep all of their dogs as healthy as possible ,which is another reason why I really enjoy watching this show and I think anyone else would enjoy it too.
