Review #1: The Movie: Fifty Shades Of Grey

I am going to start by say that I have not read the book yet ,so this is not a comparison between the book and the movie. After, I have heard endless things about this movie, I have finally been able to sit down and watch it. Although, I did know that it was a sexual movie ,I did not know what to expect. I watched it with an open mind. I will be honest and say that I thought the movie started off slow ,but then it picked up a little bit ,and surprised me. I thought the movie had a good story line ,but it was not what I was expecting. I think the movie was made in two different perspectives which came together well. Some parts of the movie were better than others. Some parts made me have bad feelings and some parts made me have some good feelings.

Before, I started watching the movie, I read the description of it ,and I noticed a word that said "control" and that word almost stopped me from watching the movie because I was in a mentally abusive relationship where he wanted to "control" me and everything. As I took a chance and watched it ,I was hoping that the movie was not all about control ,because I was afraid it would bring back memories. While I watched it ,I found that it was partly about "control". I watched it anyway because I wanted to give it a chance ,and I am glad I did ,because now I do not have to wonder why so many people liked the movie. I thought the music that was played in the movie was good ,and went well with the movie.

I am not going to go into too many details about the movie ,because I do not want to spoil it for anyone that has not seen it yet ,and might want to see it someday. I thought the characters were well played ,and the story line was well thought out. I am not sure how relatable it is to people ,I think it just depends on the person. I think some people will like it if they have not seen it yet. I also think that there are some people that might not like it if they have not seen it yet. That also goes for people who have already seen the movie. I think it will bring strong emotions and reactions to people ,and they will either like it or not like it. Either way, I think everyone should give it a chance like I did. I suspect that the sequel to this movie (Fifty Shades Darker) will be just as good.
